Sassman barn dinner....

Yesterday we played at a renovated barn on restored wildlife property. It was very neat!! I wish we could have taken pictures because downstairs there was a room that was like a suet with a cute little room in the back. And up stairs (the loft), was a dining room! (Where we played.)

The show went really well. Especially our newly worked up "Some Day", an A Capella piece!! We had never performed it, but it went way better then expected! :-)

Hopefully we can get a camera soon so these posts will be more interesting! :D

By the way, the schedule doesn't seem to be working on the sidebar...I'll try to fix it.

Silver Dollar City Single Mic Chompetition...

A few days ago we got accepted to the S.D.C Single Mic Competition!! We're so excited! We know a lot of people who go down there for this event, so it's going to be tons of fun!

Allan Sterling is playing Dobro for us in the competition. He plays in his family band called The Sterling's. He is really good. (As you can see in our entry video.)

Hopefully after the competition we'll be able to start making our C.D. and doing some things with the band.

Hello again!

We are hoping to record a new C.D. soon. Still not sure where we'll do it, but we've already picked most of the songs.

We are also going to take new band pictures soon. All the pictures on this blog are a year old, so we all look a little different! :)
